Trailer
Two Portuguese colonial officers reach a remote ivory-trading post in Congo. Their bright white uniform identifies them not only as foreign bodies in the jungle but also as ghosts in the natives’ eyes. Their mission is to get the local ivory market flowing again after the death of the former station chief. However, local workers do not seem to be very interested in collaborating. Lost among alcohol binging sessions, music, and a malaria outbreak, they have no escape. We all know that history repeats itself as farce. Berlin 2016.
