​Paris in the late 1930s. Kate and Laura Barlow, two young American spiritualists, are finishing up their world tour. Specialists in communicating with the dead, the sisters are far less skilled to deal with the living. Fascinated by the girls’ gift, André Korben, a powerful French cinema producer, decides to hire them for an ambitious film project.
