She studied journalism and cinema at PUC-Rio before specialising in scripts and directing at NYU. She wrote documentaries such as Francisco Brennand (2012) and Território do brincar (2015). She wrote and directed shorts such as Graça (2013), shown at the Rio Film Festival.
