​Spain 1980. The country is going through a period of instability after the end of Franco’s dictatorship and the restoration of democracy. In a small village in the south, forgotten in time and a stranger to change, two teenage sisters disappear during a party. When the bodies are found with brutal signs of violence, Juan and Pedro, two police officers from Madrid, are sent to investigate. In a few days, two new cases appear with similar victims. In a race against time, the police will have to overcome their ideological differences in order to solve the case. Winner of 10 Goya Awards.

Alberto Rodríguez

​Born in Seville, Spain, in 1971. His first feature, The Pilgrim Factor (2001), received an honourable mention for best new director at the San Sebastián Film Festival. His next film, The Suit (2002), was shown at the Brussels Film Festival. 7 Virgins (2005) took part at the Toronto Film Festival. In 2010, he received three nominations for After, shown at the Rome Film Festival. In 2012, he directed Unit 7, shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. ​
