Paulina decided to give up her brilliant career as a lawyer – as well as her relationship with her boyfriend and her father’s trust – in order to dedicate herself to teaching in an underprivileged part of Argentina. Faced with a hostile environment, she clings on to the mission of education, the only guarantee of a real political commitment. Soon after her arrival, she is violently attacked by a group of youths and soon discovers that some of them are students of hers. Despite the trauma and the lack of understanding about why it happened, Paulina tries to stay faithful to her social ideal. Best film at Critics’ Week in Cannes 2015.
