Leandro went missing after a soccer game. The paramilitary group controlling his neighborhood executed twenty young people that day. Under threat of violence, Sandra, Leandro’s mother, set out to locate her son’s body in order to give him a decent burial. Through her personal testimony, Sandra paints a harrowing picture of the practice of "forced disappearances" in Rio de Janeiro, where public institutions accumulate thousands of similar cases in piles of documents and unidentified human remains.
