Creative documentary about the writer Otto Lara Resende. Actor Rodolfo Vaz plays Otto, Júlia Lemmertz reads excerpts from his work, and his widow and daughter show excerpts from his unpublished letters and notes. Journalist and writer Humberto Werneck participates, punctuating and commenting on facts from Otto's life. Just like our character, Otto: Backwards and Forth is a film with emotion, information, reflection, humor, and a lot of humanity.
Marcos Ribeiro
Marcos Ribeiro is a filmmaker, journalist and broadcaster. He studied at the Escuela Internacional de San Antonio de Los Baños and at the SCE New York University. He directed Quem Pode Jogar? (2020) and The Work of Art (2009). Helena Lara Resende is a journalist, screenwriter and debuting director. Graduated from PUC-Rio, she studied at SCE New York University. In cinema, she scripted the documentary Quem Pode Jogar? (2020).
