In a Rio de Janeiro dominated by crime, Regina and Valerio find themselves involved in debts and betrayals inherited from his family. One night, they hit on a perfect solution. But by putting it into practice, they are drawn into a spiral of apparently endless violence.

Screenwriter and director. His first feature, A Wolf at the Door, (2013), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, won several awards at festivals such as San Sebastian, Havana, Miami, Guadalajara and Rio de Janeiro and was nominated by the Directors Guild of America. His first feature in the USA, Sand Castle (2017) became a Netflix Original. He has directed episodes of series such as Narcos (2015 Netflix), Outcast (2016, Cinemax/Fox) and Perry Mason (HBO).
