Crossing the labyrinth of Olivia’s psyche. She is an unfortunate actress who is preparing to act in Chekov’s The Seagull. When the spectacle begins to take shape, Olivia and her companion Serge, who had met years before at rehearsals for the Theatre du Soleil, discover that she is pregnant. The film has another twist when what appears to be a set turns out to be real life. Or is the other way around? This investigation of the creative process invites us to question what is real, what is imaginary and what we celebrate and sacrifice in life.
