Irina, a Ukrainian single mother, lives with her son Igor in a small Czech border town. When she finds out that Igor has been attacked by three gypsies, her world comes crashing down. Over time, however, she notices gaps in the story told by her son. Screened at the 2022 Venice Film Festival.

Born in 1989, Michal Blaško is a Slovak screenwriter and director. He made short films such as Strach (2015), Zidka (2015), and The Truck (2017), all awarded at several festivals around the world. Victim is his first feature film.
