Luiz carlos Lacerda
Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1945, he has worked as an assistant for Ruy Santos, Nelson Pereira dos Santos, Jurandyr Noronha, and Roberto Pires. He directed about 30 documentaries and nine features, including Mãos vazias (1970), Leila Diniz (1988), For All: Springboard to Victory (1997), Viva Sapato! (2004), and Introduction to the Music of Blood (2015). He is a poet and writer.
