In the 1970s, a communist revolutionary who shares a prison cell with an evangelical Christian was mistakenly arrested. Amid tortures and ideological conflicts, they help each other and set a meeting for New Year’s Eve of 2000. On the last days of the millennium, Juliana, an activist and illegitimate daughter of a colonel who has just committed suicide, is surprised by an inheritance left for her. Through a book found at the colonel’s house, she will discover that her father was the torturer of both prisoners and that their meeting will not happen as predicted.
