​In 1996, five days after the publication of Infinite Jest, enigmatic writer David Foster Wallace began a five-day interview with David Lipsky, a Rolling Stone journalist. As the days go by, the two discover a great affinity for each other. Between laughs and revelations about their most secret frailties, they try to discover what of that conversation is real. Based on Lipsky’s book Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace, the film stars Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Segel. Sundance Film Festival 2015.​

​Born in Georgia, USA, in 1978, his debut feature as a director was Off The Black (2006). His second feature, Smashed, was screened at the Sundance Film Festival 2012. The following year, he had another film – The Spectacular Now – selected for the Sundance competition. For television, he has directed episodes for well-known series such as Parenthood.​
