Claire Simon

Born in London, Claire Simon grew up in France and directed her first short films in the 70s. In 1997, she produced her first fictional feature film, Sinon, Oui. During her career, she has combined true and fictional stories. In 2008, her film God's Offices received the SACD prize at the Cannes Directors' Fortnight. In 2016, she won the award for Best Documentary at the Venice FF with The Graduation. In 2021, she came back to fiction with I Want to Talk about Duras
