São Paulo, 2007. Santana is a dog catcher for the city’s Animal Control Department. An amateur drummer, he is likeable and friendly, and always kept violence at a distance from his home. Until the day that he catches a huge dog at a school. Three days later, the owner of the dog appears, a man called Nenê. But, in accordance with the law, the dog had been put down. Due to a misunderstanding, Nenê holds Santana responsible for killing his dog. After this encounter, the lives of all involved will never be the same again.
Marcos Jorge
He is a director and scriptwriter. He studied communication in Brazil and film in Italy. His first fiction feature, Estomago: A Gastronomic Story (2008), won 39 awards, 16 of them international, and was the Brazilian film that won most awards between 2008 and 2009. Variety magazine selected him as one of the most interesting directors in the new generation of Brazilian cinema. He directed seven shorts, such as Infinitamente maio (2003), among others.
