Reiji has a great sense of justice, but he graduates from the police academy with the worst mark in history. When he is sacked for bad behaviour, he ends up being hired to become a secret agent and infiltrate the Sukiya-kai clan — considered the region's biggest criminal group —, where he becomes the chief's favourite. As time passes, Reiji faces dilemmas and conflicts that lead him to great discoveries.
Takashi Miike
Born in Osaka, in 1960, he transformed his signature into a synonym of unique audiovisual experiences, independent of the genre. His directorial debut was Red Hunter: Prelude to Kill (1991) and, from then on, he made more than 100 films and series. His filmography includes Rainy Dog (1997), Audition (1999), Ichi, the Killer (2001), Visitor Q (2001), 13 Assassins (2010), Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai (2011) and Blade of the Immortal (2017).
