Trailer

Nagieb Khaja is a Danish journalist of Afghan descent who believes Westerners are misinformed with regard to Afghanistan. Since the circulation of journalists is restricted there, he decides to distribute 30 cameras among ordinary people in the rural province of Helmand, thus capturing images otherwise inaccessible to big media outlets. The videos produced by these citizens offer a mosaic of the daily lives of the Afghan population, their culture and their difficulties in the face of the war between the Taliban and the Western troops occupying their nation. Honorable mention, Bafici 2013.
