Margherita is a director and is in the middle of directing her new film, whose main role is played by a famous – and unbearable – American actor of Italian origin. During filming, the typical issues and questions of a committed artist mix with the difficulties of her private life: Margherita’s mother is in the hospital while her daughter is going through an adolescent crisis. Will Margherita be able to play both roles well? By Nanni Moretti, who directed We Have a Pope and The Son’s Room. Winner of the Ecumenical Jury Prize at Cannes 2015.
