Lee Chandler is a handyman of sorts who lives in a small apartment complex in Boston suburbs. He spends his days shoveling snow out of doors, fixing leaks, while doing everything he can think of to avoid talking to neighbors. On his free nights, Lee drinks beer at the local pub and causes trouble with anyone who dares to look at him. When his older brother dies, he gets the unpleasant surprise of being appointment as his nephew guardian. Back in his hometown, he will have to deal with cherished and painful memories.
