Raimonds is a pre-teen who learns to play the saxophone and joins the school band. He lives with his mother, a doctor who works at a clinic and often works late hours, leaving the boy constantly alone. When he is accused of committing a tasteless prank during rehearsal, he brings home another written warning. Trying to hide the fact from his mother, Raimonds gets tangled up in a web of lies that grows increasingly complicated.
