With an estimated population of 4 million, Lebanon has 200,000 foreign domestic workers, people who work in slavery-like conditions and have their basic rights violated every day. Since the beginning of the civil war, this system sees workers as commodities often brought in on “slave ships” of the XXI century. With a discreet and attentive camera, the director follows the routine in these work environments, revealing an even more complex portrait of our reality. Berlin 2016.
