With the death of his grandfather, Jake, a 13-year-old boy, and his family move into the house he lived in. At the new home, the teenager meets Tony, a boy about the same age, son of Leonor, the Chilean seamstress who rents the store located on the ground floor of the building. When Jake’s father decides to considerably increase Leonor’s rent,the two boys’ friendship strengthens. Oblivious to the underlying conflicts in the adult world, they dream of transferring to a prestigious art school. From the director Ira Sachs (Keep the Lights On and Love Is Strange). Berlin 2016.
