Bruno Dumont
French filmmaker, born in 1958, he was a philosophy professor and made various publicity films, shorts and documentaries. His first feature film was The Life of Jesus (1997). It was followed by Humanity (1999) and Flanders (2006), both of which won the Grand Prix in Cannes. Highlights among his recent films are Hadewijch (2009), Camille Claudel 1915 (2013), Slack Bay (2016) and Jeannette: The Childhood of Joan of Arc (2017).
