Julio Bressane

Julio Bressane (1946, Rio de Janeiro) began his cinematographic career as director's assistant to Walter Lima Jr. He directed his first feature in 1967, Cara a Cara. He founded the legendary production company Belair Filmes in 1970, together with Rogério Sganzerla, and is one of the most important experimental and essayistic filmmakers of Brazilian cinema.
