Avril, a young lawyer specializing in the defence of animals, is ready to do anything to save her client, a persistent offender dog, from capital punishment. Between her belief in justice and growing difficulty in bearing the contempt of humans for animals, it is this dog who will help Avril to accept human complexity. Un Certain Regard Cannes 2024.
Laetitia Dosch
Actress who starred in films by Justine Triet , Christophe Honoré, Catherine Corsini, and Maïwenn. She played the title role in Jeune Femme (2017), directed by Léonor Serraille, which won the Caméra d'Or at Cannes and earned her a César nomination. Beyond cinema, she conceived the play Hate, in which she starred with a horse, and the ecology-themed show Radio Arbres. She wrote and directed her first feature film, Dog on Trial.
