Michel’s lonely day-to-day existence is drastically changed when Dora, a 26-year old woman completely adrift, comes to live in his apartment. Even in its early stages, the relationship brings a certain freshness to the retired math instructor’s life and has him revisiting long-forgotten sensations. Meanwhile, his home gradually becomes a stage for mysterious events. Directed by and starring Jean-Claude Brisseau, the film is just as brave and intimate as his previous ones, and was shot entirely in the filmmaker’s own home. Winner of the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Festival 2012.
