"An imagined autobiography" - that is how Alejandro Jodorowsky, one of the most daring and eccentric filmmakers alive today, defines his new film. Taking the story of his own life as a starting point, the director begins his trajectory in the small city of Tocopilla, in the Chilean desert, where he grew up having only his imagination for an ally. Stretching fiction to its limits, Jodorowsky justifies this mesh of poetry, philosophy, film, tarot and his own self-evident idiosyncrasies as an attempt to understand and expose who he is in fact.
