Trans people from Palestine flee to Israel in search of other perspectives. The film shows the risky journey and life between these two worlds and offers an insight into their struggle for self-assertion amid conflict and oppression. Oficial selection Cannes 2024.

Yolande Zauberman

A French art and history graduate, she began working with Israeli filmmaker Amos Gitaï. Her documentary Classified People (1987),filmed in South Africa, contrasts racial violence with a couple's story. In India she made Caste Criminelle (1989), which was shown at Cannes, won awards with Moi Ivan, Toi Abraham (1992), and made Clubbed to Death (1996), La Guerre à Paris (2002) and M (2018) which won the César for Best Documentary.
