On the border between Pakistan and China, K2 is the second tallest mountain in the world and, for its steep and limited routes, is considered by many to be a more challenging climb than Everest. In 2008, a tragic accident took the lives of 11 people, including four sherpas. Although they are paid, these workers earn far less than those working for large expedition companies in the area. In this documentary, activist Iara Lee looks at the lives of these unforgettable men who make it possible to climb one of the highest mountains in the world.
