Julie Bertuccelli

Born in France in 1968, she studied Philosophy and became a documentary filmmaker in Paris. She worked as an assistant to directors such as Otar Iosseliani, Krzysztof Kieslowski, and Bertrand Tavernier. Since Otar Left (2003), her first feature, won the Critics' Week Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. She also directed The Tree (2010) and Claire Darling (2018).
