The film shows the border between man, nature, and the cosmos, whereby exchanges and interactions take place. One might speak of the “journeys of the soul”. The work was carried out during a trip to the Ashaninka people’s territory, indigenous tribe inhabitant in the state of Acre, fully inserted in the Amazon territory, bordering Peru. At the Piyaretsi party, the indigenous gathered for great rituals, strengthening social ties among its different groups through gestures, movements, ornaments, songs, dances, and music, always symbolic in nature. The work is not about the indigenous nor this annual festival, these was just an excuse to talk about the journeys of the soul, one of the shapes of infinity.
