Around 35 miles from Times Square, in New York, lies Indian Point, an old and unusual nuclear power station. Built at the beginning of the 1950s, the power station still provokes heated debates about the safety of the surrounding communities – with over 50 million people potentially at risk – and the nearby ecosystems. With unprecedented access to the case, the documentary reveals the agents and obstacles involved in the ongoing fight for clean energy, and reminds us of the devastation caused by the tsunami that damaged the nuclear power station at Fukushima.
