An American psychiatrist arrives at a Colombian farm, after being called to solve the case of a disturbed child. She was called by the child's mother, worried about the insistent accusations that the child is the devil and linked to adverse events in the region. When the doctor arrives, she discovers that the mother is dead and the father believes in the hypothesis of possession. While the woman tries to analyze the child, the nefarious events intensify and her "cure" becomes a race to save the little boy from the fury of the neighbours and maybe even from himself.
