A young female student is brutally killed. One of the 7 men involved in the crime is kidnapped by an elite squad on his way home. He is tortured and obliged to sign to a confession to the crime. He remembers that he thought himself to be invincible and starts to have panic attacks. However, he discovers that others were also kidnapped, tortured and that there was even a suicide. Suspicious about the people who kidnapped him, he follows the next victim and discovers their hideout Director Kim Ki-Duk (Pietá, Moebius). Venice Days, Venice Film Festival 2014.
Kim Ki-duk
Nasceu em 1960 na Coreia do Sul. Estreou na direção com Crocodile (1996). Entre seus filmes, destacam-se Casa vazia (2004), vencedor do Leão de Prata de melhor direção em Veneza, Samaritan Girl (2004), Urso de Prata no Festival de Berlim, O arco (2005) e O fôlego (2007), ambos exibidos em Cannes. Por Arirang (2011), recebeu o prêmio de melhor filme da mostra Um Certo Olhar, em Cannes. Com Pietá, foi o grande vencedor de Veneza 2012.
