Trailer
Members of the multidisciplinary collective The Nest spent months traveling around Kenya gathering stories of LGBT young people, based on their lives and experiences in a country dominated by extreme homophobia. Based on all these interviews, the group developed scripts for five stories that give us an insight into the current situation and the problems of these young people, marginalized for their sexuality. Themes covered include the search for identity, forced heteronormativity and the fight to be accepted. Winner of the Jury Special Award from the Teddy Award, Berlin 2015.
