Sophie had been in college for only a few months when she found out she had cancer. In order to face the problem, she opts to take a firm, brave position: to carry on living like any other girl her age, which includes dreams, parties, laughter and sex. Aided by nine different wigs, she takes on different personas, one for each occasion. She can be wild, sexy or romantic – all she has to do is change the color and style of her hair. With lightness and humor, the illness gradually begins to take a backseat to the rest of her life. From the director of Sophie Scholl: The Last Days.
