Biyi Bandele
Born in Kafanchan, north of Nigeria. He studied drama at the Obafemi Awolowo University, at Ile-Ife. One of Nigeria’s most respected writers, author of plays such as Marching for Fausa (1993), Two Horsemen (1994), among others. As a writer, his most recent novels are Burma Boy (2007) and The King's Rifle (2009). Half of a Yellow Sun is his feature-length directorial debut.
