​Elle, a woman who was once a successful poet, suddenly ends her four-month relationship with Olive. But before she has time to feel sad, her granddaughter Sage comes to her with a serious money problem. The pair go out knocking on the doors of old friends and lovers of Elle’s in search of help. All they find, however, are old secrets and hidden skeletons. Paul Weitz

​Born in New York in 1965, he studied film at the Wesleyan University. With his brother Chris Weitz, he wrote Antz (1998) and directed films such as American Pie (1999) and About a Boy (2002), for which they were nominated for the Oscar for best adapted screenplay. In his solo career, he directed In Good Company (2004), shown at the Berlin Film Festival, and Little Fockers (2010), among others.​
