The path of legendary photojournalist John G. Morris, a close friend to Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa and one of the few professionals still alive who were involved in covering the Spanish Civil War and D Day, in World War II. Interviews and images from renowned photographers complement the artistic and historical legacy built by Morris, an ex-editor at Life Magazine, The New York Times and a co-founder to prestigious press agency Magnum. Aside from looking back, the film reveals how Morris, at 96, based in Paris since 1983, remains concerned with current affairs.
