The only child of divorced parents, 12-year-old Théo has a promising future in football, but he suffers when witnessing the self-destructive behavior of his father. A recruiter for a prestigious British club takes notice of Théo, but, despite all his efforts, he is not selected. So he decides to lie and say he was, hoping to make his father happy and proud. However, the false narrative gets out of his control.
