2069, perhaps an erotic year – we'll see it soon – but fateful for a king without a crown. On his deathbed, an old song reminds him of trees, a burning pine forest, and the time when the desire to be a firefighter to set Portugal free from the scourge of fires was also the dawn of another desire. Screened at the Directors' Fortnight at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
