Trailer
A simple love story is told through three different cities: New York, Berlin and Tokyo. Repeating the same situations and dialogues, with subtle differences in emphasis and drama, the film evolves from the turbulence of America to the calm of Japan. The crisis of these stories is always set off by indecision on the part of Flirt, the main character: should he surrender already to one lover, or have other experiences first? An experiment on ‘universal themes’ such as commitment, cheating, indecision, taking a place, losing a lover and being shot in the face. Toronto Film Festival 1995.
