Salty, sweet, sour and bitter. Food can reveal more than we perceive. A trip through Palestine and Israel investigates food and eating habits which, although in neighbouring regions, interpret diverse identities. Can food be considered an instrument of resistance? A political tool? Does it have the power to heal or draw people closer? The amplitude of individual flavours reveals connections, exposes differences, humanises, promotes reflection and a broader understanding of the context around them.
