After John's father is hit by a stray bullet, Primo takes on the task of teaching the boy the law of the streets. A member of the Bloods from the age of 12 (in the film and in real life), the violent reality of the Brooklyn streets is all that Primo knows. While John questions whether he should get involved in this lifestyle, his tutor needs to decide if he will leave it all behind him to become a better father and husband as he promised his wife. Mixing fiction with real life, this film is an intense exploration of New York gang culture. Tribeca Film Festival 2014.
