Thiago Zanato
Thiago Zanato is a Brazilian filmmaker whose work focuses on social issues and the aesthetics of representation. He directed the short La Flaca (2018), a film about a Mexican transgender woman and leader of the Santa Muerte cult in Queens, New York. Esu and the Universe is his first documentary feature film and he is currently developing his first narrative film, to be produced between the United States and Mexico.
