At the age of 30, Sandrine finds herself forced to return to her mother’s house in Roubaix, the far north of France. Unemployed, she takes a job with her uncle at a kennel, an establishment that is in fact a front for a large centre that trafficks dogs from Eastern Europe. As well as putting together a good amount of money, Sandrine soon gains authority and respect in this world dominated by men. At times, however, the good soldiers refuse to take orders. Official selection for Un Certain Regard at Cannes 2015.
