In present-day Algeria, we see three stories, from three generations. Mourad, a divorced realtor, feels that his life is fading. Aïcha, a young woman, is torn between the desire she feels for Djalil and another destiny promised to her. Dahman, a neurologist, is suddenly taken by his past on the eve of his wedding. In these lives’ turmoil, each one, in their own way, will face decisive choices that will bring together past and present, forming a kaleidoscope of contemporary Algeria. Screened at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival’s A Certain Regard section.
