Argentinean writer Daniel Montavani, Literature Nobel Prize winner, has lived in Europe for over 30 years. When the mayor of his home town, Salas, decides to honor him with the Distinguished Citizen Medal, he sees it as a chance to return to the town he hasn’t visited since his youth, and, yet, keeps using as inspiration for his novels. Once there, the author will confirm both the affinities that still connect him to Salas and the differences that will quickly transform him into a stranger and a disturbing element to the town’s life. A dark comedy, which won best actor award in Venice 2016.
