In a rural corner of the Dominican Republic, the story of Genesis — a peasant woman who is offered by her father to marry Sandro, known as El Blanco — takes place. Her dream of a happy and peaceful life is interrupted by two unforeseen events: the impossibility of getting pregnant and the arrival of her sister, Mariella, who unleashes a storm.
Alejandro Andújar
Born in 1980, in the Dominican Republic. He exchanged his studies of Communication and Journalism in his native country for the Escuela de Cine de San Antonio de los Baños, in Cuba. Andújar was the founder and artistic director of RDOC, the Caribbean's first documentary film festival. He directed the feature film The Watchman (2017).
