Pablo and his sister Apolline escape their daily routine by playing Darknoon, a video game they’ve grown up with. One day, Pablo meets Night, whom he introduces to his little schemes, and starts to drift away from his sister who feels neglected. in consequence. As the end of the game approaches, Apolline suffers greatly and the boy's irresponsible choices provoke the anger of a rival gang, bringing devastating consequences for all of them. Caroline Poggi e Jonathan Vinel
Caroline Poggi, born in Ajaccio, and Jonathan Vinel, born in Toulouse, are a French couple of filmmakers active for ten years. They won the Golden Bear in the Berlinale for their short As Long as Shotguns Remain (2014) and debuted in features with Jessica Forever (2018). Before beginning their partnership, Poggi directed the short Chiens (2013).
